Sundays in celebration discovering the unique local flavours
Sundays in celebration, the “Zafferanese Ottobrata” , a cultural and gastronomic fair that takes place throughout the month of October in the historic centre of Zafferana Etnea (CT).
Colouring all Sundays in October are the local products: grapes, wine, honey, chestnuts, pistachios, porcini Etna mushrooms, oil and olives. The tastings, organized by Slow Food to taste the different speciality by the sicilian cuisine, are unmissable.

The days begin with nature excursions to discover the scenic wonders of the place and continue with picturesque paths to admire the photographic exhibitions in the historic center of Zafferana Etnea.
On display there are the ancient crafts: from the sculptures of wood and lava stone to the performances of artists, actors and acrobats, there will be no lack of music.
A different event every year that proposes and promotes local art in its different forms.
Donnafugata, in October, is in full harvest in the districts located on the north side of Etna: grapes that give life to surprising wines of great sharpness and elegance.
