Native Grape Varieties as Protagonists
A sensory journey to discover Donnafugata: from the peaks of Etna to the terraced landscapes by the sea on Pantelleria. The tasting, lasting about 30 minutes, features four labels.
We begin the journey at the Contessa Entellina estate, the historic estate of the Rallo family. From these lands comes Passiperduti, a white wine with pronounced salinity, made entirely from Grillo grapes.
From Contessa Entellina, the journey continues to Acate, Vittoria with Contesa dei Venti, a Nero d'Avola that reflects the essence of the Vittoria region, evoking the authentic character and rich farming tradition of the Ragusa lands.
We then move on to Randazzo, over 700 meters above sea level, with the Etna Cru Fragore, a pure expression of Nerello Mascalese.
We conclude on the island of sun and wind, Pantelleria, with Ben Ryé, the result of incredible artisanal production.
