Walk around tasting: Open air tasting area with a selection of Donnafugata's wines in pairing with street food speacialties
Sunday 28 May, we await you at the historic cellars of Marsala, on the occasion of Cantine Aperte, the unmissable spring event organized by the Movimento del Turismo del Vino: a day dedicated to the dialogue between wine, music and sustainability.
In the outdoor walk-around tasting area, you will find a selection of wines for tasting: white and rosé, red and naturally sweet, the most representative of Donnafugata estates.
In addition, there will also be the extra virgin olive oils that express the most authentic aromas and fragrances of the territories.
To complete the experience, the selected wines and oils will be accompanied by small pairings of specialties of Sicilian street food.
Every hour, it will also be possible to take a guided tour of the historic winery which houses the fascinating underground barrique. A unique opportunity to find out more about the territories, the history of Donnafugata and the garden of the estate which, beginning in autumn 2023, will house a collection of extremely rare varieties of Kolymbethra citrus fruits, an asset protected by the FAI (the National Trust for Italy) in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
