Open air tasting area with a selection of wines in pairing with street food speacialties and a guided tasting of Donnafugata's rose wines
In the outdoor walk-around tasting area, you will find a selection of wines for tasting: white and rosé, red and naturally sweet, the most representative of Donnafugata estates.
In addition, there will also be the extra virgin olive oils that express the most authentic aromas and fragrances of the territories. All of this will be accompanied by small pairings of specialties of Sicilian street food.
Every hour, it will also be possible to take a guided tour of the winery, an example of sustainable architecture nestled among the Frappato and Nero d'Avola vineyards. A unique opportunity to find out more about the territories, the history of Donnafugata and to have a cultural and sensory experience discovering the unique terroir and the territory’s aromatic herbs that can be found in the organoleptic profile of the wines during the tasting.
Tasting Wine&Roses
Guided tasting of 4 wines, to discover the versatility of rosé wines.
From Rosa Dolce&Gabbana and Donnafugata, the rosé created from the blend of two native Sicilian vines from Sicilian territories, to Sul Vulcano Rosato, the volcanic and intriguing rosé, to Donnafugata Brut Rosè, the vintage rosé with a pleasant structure and finesse to then conclude with the Kabir Moscato of Pantelleria DOC, an expression of the heroic viticulture on the island of Pantelleria.
