Passito, a Pantelleria excellence
The Island of Pantelleria, in collaboration with the "Consorzio dei vini Doc", presents the Pantelleria Doc Festival from 5 to 8 September, an event created to discover gastronomic products and wines involving the producers of locals excellence.
The Festival aims to enhancement of the territory through guided tours and excursions by sea and land. There are many on foot or biking routes to discover caves, natural sludge and saunas. You can also take part in the guided tours of the vineyards and wineries, immersed in the enchanting scenery of the island.
During the event the Castle of Pantelleria will host seminars and tastings and will do relive moments of ancients cultural traditions, through documentary films projections, narratives and poetry.
The tourist will live a full experience that will enrich him with the flavour of local products, the beauty of the landscape and the excitement of the hiking.
