On Sunday May 28th, Donnafugata opens all its estates to wine lovers on the Occasion of Cantine Aperte, the unmissable spring event organizeb by Movimento del Turismo del Vino.
From the historic wineries of Marsala, to the estates of Pantelleria, Contessa Entellina, Etna and Vittoria, the experiences offered to visitors will have an immersive atmosphere: outdoor walks through the gardens of Donnafugata, visits to vineyards and wineries, guided tastings to discover a selection of the best-known labels, also with small pairings with local gastronomic specialties.

For visitors to the Contessa Entellina Estate, in the lands of The Leopard (the novel written by Tomasi di Lampedusa) and of the family villa nestled in the charming garden designed by Gabriella, the founder of Donnafugata, Donnafugata has organized: a tour of the winery and the possibility of choosing between tastings of just wine or with pairings with specialties of Sicilian street food.

The winery in Khamma is immersed among vineyards planted with Zibibbo, cultivated alberello pantesco, UNESCO heritage. The visit to the Giardino Pantesco, FAI property, is suggestive.

In Eastern Sicily, on the north side of Etna, Europe's highest and most active volcano, Donnafugata welcomes wine lovers all year round. In the Randazzo winery, located inside the Etna Park, visitors are guided to discover the vineyards and barrique cellar with a view of the volcano. The tour concludes with professional tastings in the small and welcoming enoteca.
